Bold Is Beautiful!- A Washington, DC Home Gets a Wake Up Call

This is why I love what I do. Interior design is about creating (not copying) an environment that embraces the individual client and their personality, their lifestyle.
The client lives in a Washington, DC rowhome (aka townhouse) and asked for a design Wake Up Call.
She asked me to embrace her love for African culture, to reuse her leather furniture, update her kitchen, and WOW her friends when they gather.
From the front door to the rear door, the makeover truly transformed her main level.
Scope of project:
*The foyer tile was replaced with wood flooring.
*Staircase was sanded, re-stained and painted
*Existing wood floors were sanded and re-stained
*All lighting was updated
*Window treatments were updated with shutters
*New area rug, tables, and slipcovers
*Kitchen cabinets were painted
*Kitchen island was replaced with new custom peninsula
*New Quartz countertops and porcelain tile backsplash
*Kitchen floor tile and cabinet hardware was updated
*Fresh grey paint with orange accent walls
